A humble beginning of SGT University, Delhi NCR’s top private university

SGT University takes great pride in its association with the Dashmesh Educational Charitable Trust, aligning its mission with the ideals of Shree Guru Gobind Singh Ji. The trust laid the foundation for educational excellence by establishing the SGT Dental College, Hospital, and Research Institute in 2002. This initial endeavor laid the groundwork for the university's expansion, encompassing faculties in Physiotherapy, Nursing, Medical Sciences, and various other disciplines. The culmination of this growth journey occurred on 24 January 2013, when SGT University attained the status of a university under the Haryana Private Universities (Amendment) Act No. 8 of 2013.

Beyond vertical growth, SGT University embraced a horizontal expansion strategy, establishing Centers of Excellence such as NRSC (National Reference Simulation Centre), CCSP (Centre for Cosmology Science & Popularization), and CEAPS (Centre of Excellence for Andragogical and Pedagogical Sciences). Additionally, the university institutionalized crucial entities like CRC (Corporate Resource Center), EDC (Entrepreneurship Development Centre), ACIC (Atal Community Innovation Centre), and IIC (Institution’s Innovation Council) – SGTU.
