University was established in 2022 by State Government of Tripua. National

University, which is getting liberal grants from the State Government, is

advance and disseminate learning and knowledge of law and legal process and to

Century. Law has to deal with problems of diverse magnitudes and a student of
law and an Advocate has to be trained in Professional skills to meet the challenges

in India as anywhere else, the task of lawyers would be highly technical and an
imperative need would arise to have competent lawyers who would be trained in

over the years. It is recognized Act of State Legislator Act no. 3 of 2022. The objective to promote inter-disciplinary Higher Education in
the needy areas of Agartal Tripura. To instill in students and research

The university has a
spacious centralized air-conditioned library with a facility of 4 reading
rooms. The library consists of 13,502 books with more than 200 national
and international journals. Also, the library has a subscription of 1,349
e-journals. Computer, along with internet facilities is provided to both student
and teaching staff.
Hostel:
The
university provides hostel facilities with 144 rooms available for boys &
244 rooms for girls separately. Hostel rooms provide facilities like a
cupboard, separate study rooms with the connectivity of computers &
internet, comfortable beds, bathrooms and attached toilet facilities. National
Law University Tripura, hostel is situated inside the Agartala,
campus. NLU Tripura hostel rooms are available on basis of sharing. One hostel
room can accommodate 3 people. There are 144 rooms available for boys
& the remaining 244 rooms are available for girls separately. The hostel
can accommodate nearly 600 students. All students need to follow the college
hostel rules as per the management.
